Bleaching
Bleaching makes your teeth brighter and lightens stains. A laser is
used in taking an impression of the gums.
Teeth get stained by red wine, nicotine, coffee, tea, etc. or by
medicines (e.g. preparations containing iron or nitrates). Bleaching
teeth enables stained teeth to be artificially lightened. Carbamide
peroxide is the active agent recommended for the bleaching of healthy
stained teeth. Discolouration is removed by the oxidisation of colour
pigments.
