RDA - abbreviation for Relative Dentine Abrasivity; measure for abrasiveness of a toothpaste; The RDA-value depends on the hardness and size of the abrasives contained in a toothpaste. The lower this value the more gentle the toothpaste to the enamel.

remineralisation - the process of re-depositing minerals into the hard tooth tissues

root caries - a kind of caries that can affect the entire root area;
Healthy tooth roots are covered by gum. The declining of gum (which can happen at old age, or due to wrong cleaning techniques, hard tooth brushes and abrasive toothpastes) may cause caries in the root area. Root caries often leads to loss of teeth. Oral hygiene with fluorided dental care products is of importance for preventing root caries.

Restylane - a wrinkle-free skin in a few minutes
Restylane is a new product to add volume to lips and lift up wrinkles and folds with immediate results. Restylane consists of hyaluronic acid, which is a natural substance already present in your body and, in contrast to Botox, not a neurotoxin. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane is biodegradable. Restylane and the body's own hyaluronic acid bind water, and together they create volume in the tissue.

A treatment generally takes 30 minutes and is relatively painless. An anaesthetic can be applied to the area being treated prior to the procedure. When enhancing the lips, a local anaesthetic injection is often given.

Immediately after the treatment a slight redness and swelling in the treated area may occur. The discomfort is temporary and generally disappears in a few days.

Natural beauty - throughout a whole year
The length of time the effect of a Restylane treatment lasts is very individual (6-12 month). Most people choose to have a new treatment within a year. With Restylane, a follow-up can be performed at any time you like after the previous treatment.

RoboDent® Navigation in Implant Dentistry
Implants are a particularly valuable and long-lasting form of dental replacement. For optimal treatment results, the implants must be set so that they are securely positioned in solid jaw bone and aligned so that they will later be right under the middle of the future tooth replacement. If more than one implant are being inserted, their axes must be parallel. Position and angle have to be just right - no easy task with free hand!

That is the right point to make use of RoboDent®.
RoboDent® supports both the planning and the performing of a surgical procedure. It helps conform positioning and angle accuracy to quality standards according to plan. And it allows less treatment time with less trauma, too.

With RoboDent®, the implantologist can see on a screen whether he is holding the drill properly for best drilling results. With RoboDent® he can apply all implants in the optimal position and in perfect execution of his plan.

The advantages of the system:
The implantologist can place the implants exactly where he thinks they should be from the surgical and prosthetic points of view. He achieves optimal aesthetics and stability. The wound is less painful and postoperative swelling is lighter. In many cases a surgical incision and suturing in the oral mucous membrane can be avoided. Treatment time and recovery from the operation are shorter than they are after conventional surgery, while the precision is significantly higher.
